I was thinking Bearclaws because they would also be good in summer. Your opinions please.

I was going to get the Bear Claws, but the guy at the store here gave me some good reasons why not. I can't remember what they were though. I got the Realtors and they are awesome. One direction for snow and sand and the other direction for hard pack. The ***** on the sides are great too.

The bear claws will be good, but, heavy. They will slow your quad down a lot. and when you jump, they will pull the back end down. Good but heavy. The Bandits, relators, or maxxis all trak, and sure trak would be lighter and good in snow and hard pac.

From my own experience, don't get tires with a lot of bite for snow. because when you hit the gas and there is a little resistance on the bike you just dig yourself a hole!!
I bought the Maxxis Sur Tracks and they kick **** for the mud and rocky stuff but they are really bad for the snow and I fear that if you go with the Bearclaws you will have the same problem as me.
Yours may even be worse with tires that bite because you have more power than my bike.
My advise is to get a balloon type tire that is wide and flat on top not round.

I have the Bearclaws on my Foreman and they seem to be the best all around tire I've ever seen. Had them on for about 5000 miles and they are still good as new. My problem with my EX is that I spin to easy in snow so I thought the heavier tires should help. Plus I was going to go 2 inches taller than stock. How do the other tires compare as far as how long they last, wear, flats etc... I know the Bearclaws are good especially when I compare them with other peoples tires that have worn out in 1500 miles or less. Thanks again everyone for your reply.
