Well, there as a sled pull today at Fun Wheeler Park. It was done with a progressive sled on wet (raining) sand. In the competition that I remember was:

2-3 SP500s (one was Highly Modified, but no HOs)
Magnum 500
2-3 Honda 450s
Kodiak
3 Rubicons (one stock with 28 outlaws, one stock, and mine)

I won. I tied to 190 feet with the Magnum guy. Then we had a pull off to see who won and I beat him by 1.5 feet. After all the junk I have read about Rubicons having no low end......

Good to here, I also herd the rumors about the hondamatic not shifting down soon enough in the auto mode and feeling like a 450 stuck in 3rd gear. Did you use ESP or Auto?

Congratulations, but--has your win been officially verified by Greg Sims?

"Kudos to You"!!!!!
What was the weight of the sled at the pull off. I had a Rubicon hookup to my sled, it didn't want to shift down in auto. Do you use the manual mode when pulling? Sure would like to get some pictures or info on the sled, I'm in the process of building a new one. The old one is too small for the bigger machines, 350cc was the biggest unit when I built it.
