Default 04 foreman help

i bought a used foreman. the guy told me he had the top end rebuilt and it ran for awhile and then quit. so i started with checkin valve clearance. first thing i noticed was i could not get the timing marks and valves to match.(when the "T" was in the window the exhaust valve had already started to open). so after i kept messing with it i noticed there was no gas on spark plug. so i took the air filter off, gonna spray some startin fluid in there. well with the filter off and you turn motor over its blowing the compression out thru the carb. has it jumped time and if so how hard is that to fix? thanks.

the book doesnt tell you to stand it up, but it makes it easier. also you will have to remove the skid plate on the bottom of the bike for better access

no key on that side of the engine it should be self explanatory you may want to get the nuts for the clutch(s) though sometimes they strip

On a TRX450 we replace the cam chain with the bike on the rear wheels & rear rack .. If you do it on it's wheels whatever you do don't remove the camshaft itself or the lifter/s could drop inside the crankcase and the cases would have to be split to remove them ..
