I got tired of all the plastic on the front of the quad. So what i did was take the igintion switch and place it on the side above the honda sticker. Than i took apart the head light case. I took the neutral and reverse lights and place them below the gas tank cover. Now i can see the lights in the direct sunlight without covering them up with my hand. The problem I'm having is trying to locate a sealed head light for the front of the quad. The one that comes with it isn't sealed and i don't want to put that cheesy red cover back on again.I already checked out rocky mountain and moto-man. Does anyone know of a online site that sells lights? thanks

if you want to keep the stock light then try finding a cover from the 87 250x's. it covers where it bolts on and goes up toward the handlerbar clamp. It is not the one that the 300ex's have or the late model 250x'. You no the one that covers the handlebars. this one goes right threw the bars. I know you dont want that plastic though. Or you could fabricate a few brackets and mount them where your bumper, or where your shocks are. And find a set of lights to mount there. that was a good place to put the key switch. We have done this numerous times on my friends honda's.

Look at car foglights. They have some pretty small and trick ones that a person can hide. I just picked up some from Walmart since the wife likes to ride at night. Make sure you stay low on the wattage or you will have stator problems. (i.e. no 55w or 100w bulbs)
