Default 02 foreman 450es

just came back form a trip where i broke both quads my girl friend was riding the 2002 450es Honda Foreman when "it just stopped working". Anyways the elec. shift won't work and the manual shift does't work. I've had problems with the elec shift before but the manual shifter always worked to get me home.
the bike won't start niether. I guessing the bike won't start because it's not in neutral. the display just shows a line. when you use the manual shifter it moves but does shift the gears. it feels like it's stuck on a gear.

Any ideas?

Could be a few things from the sub-gearshift arm or master arm assembly or the drum shifter the clutch cover would have to be removed and checked ...

that sounds more complicated than what i can fix. once I have to open the engine or tranny I get nervous. might have to go to the dealer on this one. $$$

Dropped it off at the Honda shop. Just like you said I had a broken sub shifter arm and a shattered clutch. Took me to the cleaners $1000 but I'm riding again. I think it's time for a new one. ?
