ok guys i want to get a trx250r or lt250r id be happy with either how are they on maintnance gas ect? are there any pros and cons between the 2? thank you

 

the honda would prolly have more parts available for it just cause it seems more popular

 

The TRX 250R has a huge aftermarket backing available. The LT 250R has a weak frame that in my experience cracks too easy, I put gussets on my Honda and it never cracked. I beat the Honda hard and I've owned it way longer than I had the Zuki, power seems pretty comparable.
The 86 and I think 87 LT 250R had less powerful motors than the others, the 86 TRX 250R has a taller piston and is usually considered most powerful stock however the late trannies are much better so the trick setup is an 86 jug on an 89 tranny.
I've owned and ridden both and I prefer the Honda but that's just my 2 cents

 

ok thanks if i get a zuki cuz theyre pretty good priced where i live like 1000 should i get shocks i hear the shocks are stiff and dont have good travel and thats part of the reason the frames crack

 

dunno about the stock shocks mine had Ohlins all around

 

ok im curious what are cool domes and what better about getting another head from like CT or another company
