I would say that neutral is harder to find than on the average quad, but I would not say that it is particularly difficult either. I do miss a shift now and then going from 1st to 2nd, and end up in neutral...not great if you are drag racing!

I love the kick stat model!!! Whether kick start or electric, you do have to know the starting drill, or you can flood the carb out real easy. Once you get it down, mine starts 1st kick every time....hot or cold.
