first of all I have a 86' 200 SX basket case one of those run one minute and not the next. Im the third person to get this quad anyway. Im wanting to update it. The least expensive way that i can think of is to get 400ex parts such as wider rims will the bolt patters work? Shocks and control arms. Will i have to relocate mounting to frame location. I know there a lot of dyi's out there i can do some frabrication i am asking how close will something will work, what does work, good conversion, very bad conversions anyting and every thing would help lend me your ears and experience. thank you all for your information

 

I have a 86 200SX that is in near new condition. But, just in case....I bought a parts bike. That would be my suggestion to you. Buy a parts bike, or two, and go from there. There probably isn't much out there that will fit the 200sx except for 200sx parts.

 

i have already measured the control arms and shock the frame has to be stretched so the control arms to work and so far a rear swing arm will work to accomidate for the wider front end the frames are reallly close not m uch differences in the two frame just ones shorter than the other

 

why go through the trouble just buy a 400 ex and save the headache.
