es system
People have trouble sometimes with sensors, Angle sensor being one of them, sometimes the speed sensor, and you will have problems if the battery goes bad in the bike (which it will soon so i'd replace it).
Waterproofing all of the electrical connectors with dielectric grease seems to help prevent problems.

es system
From day one with this system, there were posts in here where folks were having problems with the ES. Lately, the number of posts has gone up remarkably!
I say that if you really want ES go with it, but just be sure you know that you are taking a chance on possible problems down the line.
For me, I can't see paying extra money for a system that I neither need nor want (my foot works just fine!), so it's an easy choice for me to pass this option up. Always best to keep it as simple as possible......
