I have a 2000Ranchers ES that is stuck in reverse. it started messin up slowly . it wood do fine in all the gears except reverse it woodnt shift out of it. at first rocking helped but now its STUCK. i cant shift electrically or manually . everyone says it is the angle sensor. is that it. or could it be the ECM?

 

If it won't shift at all manually then it is more likely to be a selector on the gearchange that is bent or broken

but possibly also in your shift motor. Either way someone who knows how to check and possibly open up one or the other will have to get the tools out
