has anyone had a problem with the 420 dieing a lot?? over the weekend every time i let off the gas and stopped mine would die unless i kept on the gas alittle?? it would act like it was idelling low then it sounded like the starter was ticking then it would die.

i just adjusted the valves and the pcIII is working fine. i wonder i need to mess with the pcIII some more?? hhmmm.....anyone else have this problem?

 

Sounds like maybe just need to turn the idle up a speck........

 

yeah i thought about that but there are times when it idles fine. i forgot to say at the end of the day it would idle normally, i would still have to keep some gas on when stopping but after i stopped it would idle fine

Not from the liver-loaf sandwich you might have eatten for breakfast but bad gas as in the kind your quad runs on? lol

 

maybe. i was thinking it has something to do with the valve adjustment cos when it gets hot(normal running temp) i can hear ticking so it makes me think the valves are to loose and when its hot it just wants to cool down so it dies. i dont know...........
