I have a 2001 400ex and I can't start it unless it is in neutral. You can't pull in the clutch and hit the starter unless it is in neutral and i dont what is wrong with it!!

 

First test the clutch switch ..

Hey thanks a lot, that is what it is becuase i didn't even think anything of it becuase i have an aftermarket clutch and the wire connectors are zip-tied to the handlebars and i was wondering what they were for but now i know.
