You keep saying how heavy the 700XX is, that is wet weight. It is only 50 pounds more than the Raptor's wet weight. Have you ever been on one? The weight is not even noticeable. All of the people that think the Raptor is the best thing since sliced bread, I think the Raptor is one of the most uncomfortable machines I have ever been on. I think Yamaha has one of the worst ergonomics of all the makes. Everyone has a different riding style, one may like the feel of SRA on the dunes and the next guy may think the IRS is way better.

Thanks for the pure conjecture on your part. I think that IRS has a solid place in the big bore ATV market Outlaw or 700xx. Both have been doing very well and have a large following. Poll most IRS owners and they will tell you that they wouldn't go back SRA. They would most likely not want 4WD either. (the last statement was pure speculation on my part)

You're missing the point; the positives of a IRS quad far outweigh the negatives.

Ask the owners, or you can keep regurgitating your same thoughts over and over.

Here is a video for all of the IRS haters. The Outlaw IRS and the 700XX playing in the dunes. They are catching air like most people do. Mild to medium air, nothing crazy but this is how 95% of people ride in the dunes. I guess that means that the 700XX wsould fit in their guide lines!

Funny you should mention that, that's where (well, a place like it) where I'll be taking my quad over the Christmas break. Last time I took it there (with stock tires no less) my 700r riding buddy kept saying "if you can make it up this I'm buying a 700xx"

After a while he started saying "just for the record I can't afford one now, but I want one."

No, it's bone stock right now. I have a list in to Santa for some stuff but it seems Santa's elves are reporting that what I want is on backorder.

For this thing having very little ridership, Rockymountain ATV (er....um...Santa's elves) sure have a hard time keeping things for it in stock.

This is my wifes, she loves it. Another big plus having the Rhino is we can always bring an ice chest and extra gas. Not to mention other people in the bed.



She use to have this one, it was all tricked out then some kid on a dirt bike slammed into her and bent the frame. So we had to get another one.

She raced this one.
