Once I start it the 1st gear light blinks 7 times. It will not shift by the electric push button. I can shift gears with a 12mm wrench on the backup but is there a procedure to reset it so that the electronic shift works. Any help would be appreciated, my boy and I are supposed to go riding tomorrow.

 

Voltage convert circuit or ECU fail-safe circuit

Retest after installing a new or good ECU. (Engine control unit)


If there is a way to reset it great but im not sure of that, but if not those are the trouble codes for 7 blinks.

 

Mine was doing that and all I had to do was charge the battery. Low Voltage caused the light.
