The jet kit isn't that hard. I'm sure you could do it as long as you have very basic tools which most people do have. I don't like K&N filters but thats just me, I use UNI filters.

 

we have screw drivers to electric table saws etcc does it increase power? noticably

 

without a pipe or intake mods the increase is somewhat. it is worth putting on an jet kit, id say 90% of the time. if you have a manual, a couple skrewdrivers, and some time to exparament with optimal jet sizes you can do it. just keep in mind that your power gains will be in the woot, or full throttel, and not really elswhere.
