Try using a rubber mallot (spelling) and hit the inside of the rim hard. Also, if you don't have a mallot you can use a straight edge screwdriver and put it up to the inside of the rim as close to the hub as possible and give it some taps harder and harder until it comes loose. Obviously you have to be careful not to bend the rim. This will work too, but may be a stupid idea. Slowly drive the quad in circles and the forces will separate the rim from the hub. Just be careful and you probably won't ruin anything.

well worst thing you could do put if you have to take the cowder pin out and the axel thing. SOrry i don't know what it's called. But i had to it when i bent the rim really bad.

Remove all your lug nuts and then go out and jump a 40 foot double. That should loosen em up. If that sounds like a stupid idea lay a 2x4 across the backside of your tire & wheel and hammer against the 2x4.

GET A BIGGER HAMMER!!! A 2X4 AND A 20LB SLEDGE SHOULD DO THE TRICK,BUT DONT GET CARRIED AWAY AND BEND YOUR WHEEL.THE METAL HUB AND ALUMINUM WHEEL GET OXIDIZED AND KINDA GET "GLUED"TOGETHER. AFTER YOU GET IT OFF GO TO YOUR LOCAL AUTO PARTS STORE AND GET A BOTTLE OF ANTI-SEIZE AND SPREAD A LITTLE ON THE HUB.IT WONT GET STUCK AGAIN

I have never had that happen although I think the rubber malet or the pounding on the 2x4 would do the trick. You must have really torqued them nuts on to the spindle. If this doesn't work and you really don't want to bend your rim just buy another set of spindles to mount your other rims on (assuming thats why your taking the tires off in the first place). I don't know how much they are but they cant be any more than 75 bucks for two of them. At least thats cheaper than getting two new rims. Hope this helps

Take the cotter pin out, axle nuts off and take off the hub with the rim, put rim on two 4x4 boards, then you can use a 2x4 to hit hub. This has worked for me before on a buddy's quad. Also if it still won't come off try using a press. Good luck

When you do get the rims off the hubs, install some 10mm washers on the inside and outside of the rim(between the rim and hub, rim and lug-nut), and put the lug-nut on backwards(flat side in). This will stop the soft aluminum compound of the rim from deforming too the threads of the hubs, making the job easier the next time you have too remove your wheels/tires. Trust me.....
