Default Spark Arrestor Question

Bought a Big Gun Evo-R exhaust for my 250ex a while back, and I was wondering where the spark arrestor would go in the exhaust? Is it in the headpipe, or in the silencer, because I don't see anywhere for it to go in the silencer without being crammed in or something, and how should I go about putting it in?

are you talking about some sort of flanged tube that came with your new exhaust? if so you usually take off the tailpipe on the silencer, and then you put in the flanged tube, then reinstall the tailpipe over that

Some pipes are not compatible with one. That is one common mistake people make when buying pipes. It goes at the very end of your silencer. You can usually see it or at least feel it.

This is from there site. It should already be in there.

(01-08) Honda TRX 250EX Complete Exhaust System (Silencer Shown) Lighter than stock, adds up to 3.5 more horsepower. Meets AMA 102 db sound requirements also comes standard with USFS approved spark arrestor, Vortex Quiet Insert meets 94db state park requirements, Race Tools pillow packing. (only exhaust system to come with all the above features standard) Re-Jetting necessary. (The use of the Vortex Quiet Insert does require re jetting of your carburator for maximum power and exhaust longevity. Neglecting to re jet with the use of Vortex Quiet Insert will void your Big Gun Exhaust warranty on this product.) Standard 6 month warranty applies to this product.

Yep that's how it was Jrafter, I'll def. put it in there as soon as I get an allen wrench that fits the end cap. The Part of the screen the bubbles out should face the exit of the exhaust, correct?

Every S.A. I've seen the part of the screen that bubbles out goes into the pipe.
