I have a 2005 trx90 and I bought a DG full exhaust, the muffler doesnt reach to the header pipe, DG says this system fits 93 to 05, but the dealer says 2005 is different. Does anyone know what the problem could be or if the 2005 is different?

is it possible for you to move the muffler foward ,and fabracate a different mount,or is it a long ways form mounting?

 

I can fab it to work by moveing the mounting brackets forward. I just cant belive that DG wont stand behind there product.I was thinking of going with FMF exhaust, but dont know if Ill have the same problem. What do you think?

 

Well I don't know if it'd be a good investment to blow that much on a new system when you could rig the DG up. If you do decide to go FMF make sure you call them up or email them ahead of time to make sure it'll fit your model. I know this sounds dumb, and you probably already know, but confirm that your model is actually an 05'. :-/

 

No dont think thats dumb at all, I checked and it says 2005, but I cant find a manufacture date. I think Im just gona mod it to fit.
