Default Namura Piston

I am going to replace the piston when I put it back together. Mine is .010" over already and the cylinder specs good at 1st over. Question, Honda OEM, Namura or Wiseco? I am leaning towards the Namura but know nothing about them. Anone use these pistons?

Default Namura Piston

Just did a full top end on my 400 which now is a 440.

I dropped in a namura 440 piston
a namura sleeve and the full namura top end gasket set.
i went ahead and sleeved it b/c i didn't want to mess with it again it was 55 for the sleeve and about 170 or so to have it installed.

i'm still working on on tuning but from what i see it namura is just as good as any wiseco.

i'm sure you've read all the info on both sides and the two main reasons i went w/ the namura piston:
treated piston head.
price.

i've got a buddy that is putting a couple banshees together and he called up namura and they hooked him up.

according to the namura guy they are placing a special coating ( derived from NASA) that helps breakin and longevity of the piston as well as a treated piston head that is to allow for a 300% gain in durability compared to a standard aluminum piston.

the piston price was noticeably less that a comparable wiseco

i know that wiseco has a special coating now but i don't believe that the piston head is treated.

like i said everything went together solid and the namura is there to help if you need it.
i probably wouldn't go w/ oem.....

Hope this helps any other questions let me know....
