so i had the key to this about a year ago and now i seem to not be able to find the spare key NOR can i find the manual or ANYTHING. wondering what i have to do to get a new key..any one know?

Easiest is to replace key switch. Check on e-bay, they have one listed in the rancher 420 that may fit.

 

Pull the ignition switch
There is a number on the side of the switch
Should be the last three digits of that number like A25 or B13 etc...
Take that number to a honda dealer and they should be able to cut a key

so they will cut me a new key without ANY info.. like i said i have NO paper work on the 4-wheeler anymore...

 

Should just have to tell them the make and model with the code so they get the right blank and cut it for you no problem. Wouldn't be a problem here anyway

okay so its on the plastic peice UNDER the cover right.. was like 6digits letter number combo.. last 3 were A95 so... sound right
