Tool Kit for taking on the trail
I've looked at several ATV sites and can't seem to find a simple trail tool kit that I can take on the trail that might be similar to the OEM kit that came with my 87 250X that I don't have. Those T-handle metric wrenches look good though. However, they won't do a spark plug. I believe my NGK plug is an 18mm. Does anyone have a line on a kit or some other idea? Thanks.

Unlike the old days when I rode 2-strokes, my experience has been that it is never necessary to change out a spark plug out on the trail with any 4-stroke that I have ever owned!
I carry a motion pro tool kit, and a multi-tool that has pliars/wire cutters.

Crafstman also usually has Christmas specials on various tool kits in a kind of book shaped vinyl thing...
Usually they come with a 3/8 ratchet, an assortment of metric and US sockets, 4 or 5 open end wrenches, a screw driver, and various allen and screw driver bits. Add a spark plug socket, and you would be pretty well set.
I also have the Tusk winch accessory kit (tree savers, clevis, ****** block, leather work gloves) and an extra tow strap fits in that pouch. Then there is always a mini foot pump and patch kit on board.
My camel back always has a multi tool, among other things.

I put together my own tool kit ....including a extra spark plug ..extra masterlink..and any thing you need to adjuist the chain...tie rods can be bent eaisly on the trail as well ..so its good to have what u need to remove the tie rod ,and beat it back straight.....and the old 87 250x probaly burns a little oil wich will foul a plug ..thats all my 86 ever needed when it woultend start ..a plug or gas

socket and wrench sizes.....10mm,12mm,13mm,14mm,15mm,17mm....and your spark plug size socket (depending on what brand you prefer)and I needed a 1"extension to get my plug out ,used a universal joint.....
a stubby flathead screwdriver,and phillips...
and a long handel 8mm allen wrench to adjust the chain...a good size peice of clothes line rope may come in handy as well .....I used a peice when my buddy broke his lower a arm balljoint ....I tied the lower a arm to the upper with several wraps ,and he made it home..... a knife / pliars ..and I like a pair of small pruning shears in my poket to deal with those annoying vines...
