12v Accessory Socket On My '02 Foreman ...


I bought a 12v solar trickle charger for my quad and plugged it in before we left our cabin. Is that 12v plug on the side of the headlight hot regardless of whether the quad is running or not ? I never tried it...

I hope so, otherwise that charger isn't tricklin' $quat :/ ..

 

the one on my rancher is not, don't know about the foreman.

 

With the key on ..

 

hondamechs right, the socket on the side of the display should only work with the key being on. otherwise its not chargeing jack. and if the key is on then the display is on and your wasteing energy...

idk how much juice your gona get from the solar charger, but leaving the key on will drain your battery in 4-6 hours.
