400ex shocks
#1
Ok, I've heard everywhere that stock 450r shocks are way better than the stockers on the 400ex. Is this true? If so, why? Because I would love to upgrade the shocks on my 400 for a little better feel. Thanks

Looks nice... What I've done:
aluminum bumper
dg nerfs
K&N filter
motionpro twist throttle
fly grips
protaper bars
new tires(stockers from my local 4wheeler shop)
drilled airbox
5 in. wheel spacers
yoshi slip on
soon to come maier plastics (in the mail!)

400EX shocks are just preload adjustable, 450R shocks are preload, dampening and rebound adjustable.
The '04 & '05 shocks can be adjusted for a softer ride than the '05 and newer shocks. Definately an upgrade from the 400ex shocks.
I have a 450R rear shock on my 400ex. It has a better ride and the seat height is about two inches lower than my stock 400ex shock.
