I just got my LRD full exhaust system. In the past LRD got us spot on with the jetting of our LRD pipes on our 250R, but I figure I'll also ask the people here. I hear some of you are running approximately 160 mains with exhaust and minor intake mods, and then a buddy of mine is running a 170 with a WB E-series full exhaust, UNI filter, and no airbox cover. I'm going to also be running a UNI with no airbox cover, but for some reason the 170 sounds a bit overkill. Do any of you have the LRD system, or a very similar flowing system(no spark arrestor), and have excellent results with certain jetting? Any help is much appreciated. Did you change spark plug heat ranges? Pilot sizes? Needle shapes or heights? How does it run in summer and then in winter with the same jetting? Thanks alot...

On my 400EX before the motor build I had a Big Gun full system, K&N, no air box, etc. The bast power was on Dyno Jet needle 3rd clip, 155 main. Then I bought a TC 425 motor with high comp piston, track cam, ported. He set the jetting at 160 main 3rd clip. He said leave the the 38 pilot jet in and run it 3.5 turns out. Too many guys over jet bikes more fuel doesn't make more power... The proper air to fuel ratio makes more power.
