i have a 1984 200m that is not shifting it just sits there on and it wont go any were thanks

Well that's not a lot of info .. Did you remove the chain guard/cover and make sure the chain is on the front sprocket and everything is good , if so then it sounds like the clutch cover will have to be removed and the shifting assy checked ..
I would check the gearshift plate and the gearshift cam , there is also a pin on the gearshift cam that keeps is from rotating on the shift drum ..

that sucks , i just got mine fixed , i was hung n two gears , the reset spring on the shift shaft was broke on mine , hope urs aint that bad cause i had to split the case a few times before i got it working right , good luck ( but mine was a 400ex )

thank you all for all your info i adjusted the clutch screw and now its running like when i got it maybe i wont need a big repair
