Default 250R vs banshee

Well im looking to purchase a quad and i heard alot about the old 80's 250r and how fast they were, was thinking bout getting one but also a banshee. How do they compare trail riding and racing stock thanks.</end quote></div>

Sorry I disagree. A two stroke with the proper jetting, (easy to adjust) should never foul plugs. (Different jets only cost a few dollars) Yes they like to be ridden on the pipe where they make the most power, but should never foul a plug, When jetted properly, they can plug along all day, and scream when opened up. Personally I ride a KTM 300 EXE (2-stroke bike). I purchased the bike used. I corrected the jetting, and have never fouled a plug. I can cruise all day with my quad buddies, or rip on the track.

the 250r is ensane fast. Honda had to stop making them because they were so fast. if you dont get that get a quadzilla 500. They are probaly twice as fast.

I had to race in open class with my 250r because of the 310 kit and run with the 500s and out run alot of them. The 250r handles so much better and is so well balanced on the jumps and alot easer to cotrol.

I wouldn't get a quadzilla sure there fast but you have to work on them all the time. there more trouble than there worth. What it all comes down to is what do you ride . If you ride trails Id get a four stroke or the 250. If you ride dunes or wanna race your buddies and know you have the fastest quad the banshee has all kinds of goodies you can buy.

ive worked on several banshees and own a 86 lt250r. a banshee in stock trim has no torque so they kinda suck in the woods
