i dont think there any worse than ebc severe duties..brass is a very soft metal but wears much better than the material they use for other pads..i havent tried mine out yet but have no worries of wearing rotors any faster with them..there are few other polaris owners,one i remember is billciberti that has them on and said there doing pretty good.look him up and ask how there doing..good luck

I had the same problem; Three sets of pads in one summer. I finally got the EBC severe duty pads. They have been on there for a year now. My rotor doesn't seem to be ill affected. The only thing is I noticed a loss in brake power. I have to push harder on the pedal to get brakes.
