There was mention on here about a pig tail plug by the fender upper on the right side, ( by radiator) What is this for? Is the mate plug availible from Honda?
Is it for a 12v lighter syle recepticle? I'd like maybe to add this to a 420 rancher.....

There are at least two unused electrical connectors on my 2008 420 Rancher. They have a dummy plug installed, I suppose to keep out moisture, that are a bear to remove. One is located up under the right wheel well fastened along the radiator housing, the other is towards the rear along the right side under the seat and is accessible through the right rear wheel well. My nephew tells me there's a third but I haven't found it. He also said that the one he checked was hot with the key off. I don't know what size wire feeds them but it doesn't look very big. I'm going to use a heavier wire along with an inline fuse and tie directly to the battery when I install my accessory power socket.
