Default noisymotor

The tentioner went bad because the timing chain has streatched and kinked. The kinked spot in the chain may work it's way out of it with a new tentioner installed. Lot of times the chain will need to be replaced. The smoking is coming from the chains wear and kinks. It is causing the cam timing to be off. This is creating the wrong valve opening, vacume on the piston at the wrong time sucking oil past the rings into the combustion chamber. I would have suggested the cam be replaced as the decompressor is bad on it and rattling, until you mentioned the smoke issue also. It may still need a cam though
