I am thinking of getting the carlisle Swamp Pro's and to put them on my stock rims i will have to get 26x9.5x12 for the fronts and 26x9.5x11's for the back. Is there any problems by having them the samewidth(9.5) on the front and back because i know you usually have 9.5 on front and 12's or something wider on the back. Just curious to your opinions

First, it is a good idea to get rid of the stock tires; it was by far the best mod I've made to my rancher. Second, those tire sizes should be fine. The reason most people put wider tires on the rear is just for added traction; but if I'm not mistaken the 4x4 rancher's have front and rear tires that are pretty close in width. One thing to watch out for is that when you put a taller, normally heavier tire on; such as a 26" tire; you will lose "power". But you will gain clearance and maybe a little on top end speed. But it will take you longer to get up to that top end speed. Highlifter makes a high performance kit that is designed to regain some of this "power" loss.
*"power"--slower accelleration feel because you have in a sense changed the gearing of the quad.

I am perfectly happy with the Dirt Hooks that came on my Rancher for the type of riding that I do. If you have a set that you would like to sell cheap....let me know. My e-mail is Barnettcrew@aol.com. Thanks.....

Look into Mud Runners from treaddepot.com. They sell a 25x8x12 for the front & 2510x11 for the rear. These will fit the factory rims, they are the same width as factory tires & they are 1" taller for increased ground clearance.
Idahorancher, it will be interesting to see how the detroit unlocker works. If it will allow me to switch from 2wd to 4wd and back then one of these is for me!
