Default 04 trx450r

What could cause my 450 to lose oil from one side to the other, since they are seperate(motor/trans)...Thnx in advance.......

Could be a bad gasket on the clutch side case. There is an oil sump at the bottom of the engine case and this is below the trans.

There is a seal between the engine and trans sides, and that is probably what is leaking. This isn't common, but I have heard of it before. The engine side oil ends up on the trans side leaving the engine level low, so don't even start it up until you get this sorted out! Your top end will get starved for oil!

Get a service manual, and see what you can learn......
