A TRX450ER sport quad?
It sure does have a hot start button! Or should!
Did he buy it new? If not, then someone removed the hot start button!
It needs the hot start button for easy starts when the quad is warm!
Or does it have an after market carb on it?
Does it have an after market clutch perch? If it does, then some of them don't have a place for the hot start button and some one must have removed it. This could be the problem.

 

I just got off the phone he bought it brand new and he said no it did not have a hot start button on it!!

hes bringing it over so i will take closer look at it!!!

Trust me, if it's a TRX450ER it has a hot start button (acually a lever on the left side of the handle bars)

 

compression tested 45 to 47.. supposed to be 50-56..

i have NO SPARK at the plug...

cranks over just fine so it must be somethinng in the electrical what could it be

 

also the HOT start button is on the 450r not ob the elctric start models
