I am doing thhis for a friend. He has a 1985 suzuki that he bought off ebay. When he bought it, it smoked white smoke out the exhaust like a 2-stroke. He thought it needed rebuilt. So he rebuilt it, and it was bored over like .40. After that it stopped s for a bit but then started back up again. But this time blue smoke comes out. He put carborator cleaner through it and that didn't seem to help. It almost seemed to make it worse. It runs fine but the smoking is really annoying. It smokes worse than a 2-stroke.

sounds like it keeps wearin out the rings.

 

i would say rings as well. Blue smoke is never good
