Hi i am new to this forum but i just picked up a 400ex. The guy that had it before me put 500 dollars into the motor due to a blown head gasket that was ran on for a while. I have the paperwork for all the motorwork so i know he had it profesionly done but he got it all back together and. . . .no spark. What is a common thing that goes wrong or possible not common?

 

i would have to say if it ran when it went it will run now.check for unpluged wires, or look for wires not all the way threw the pig tail.some times people cant get the wires apart and pull them off the wrong way.good luck

 

It was the plug wire. go figure i guess it didnt run when he took it apart and i guess when he put it back together he just pushed the cam in there and put the chain on cuz its way out of timing
