I just got a used 2005 trx450r and decided to change the engine oil, transmission oil and radiator coolant and somewhere along the line i think did something wrong on this simple little maintinence procedure! So, when i let it idle, after a few minutes, it simply shuts off. I cant tell if the temp light comes on because i never get a chance to look at it, but my brother who rode it right after i changed the fluids, had to bring it back to the garage because he said that the light came on. Anyone have any ideas?? Im stumped!

 

Do you see coolant in the radiator and overflow? Thermostat may not have opened.

 

yes i can see coolant up to the filler neck in the radiator and the overflow is where it should be

 

i looked again today and the light does not come on, it just shuts off after a minute or 2, i dont know wether to ride it so im stumped, any one got ideas?
