im using a 300ex jug on my 250x, you wont gain any cc's by changes the two they are the same bore. if you want a big bore kit go to powroll website they have big bore and stroker stuff.

check my post i made a mistake on the website. its powroll. all the chassis stuff is pretty much the same. the crank out of the 300ex wont work in 250x cause of the elec start stuff. engine stuff that works are....jug,head,gear set, clutch stuff, oil pump...not sure about the cases though.

i dont know if a 250ex slip on would work....i have a hmf slip on with a pro circuit head pipe. the thing with chasing hp with the 250x is you can stroke it,big bore then your gonna prob need a cam, springs, hardface rockers, bigger carb..etc then the head is gonna be a bottle neck and hold back its power potential. after you blow all that cash the suspention gonna be robbing you traction so there is more money. when its all said and done you'd be better off buying a bigger wheeler.

dont get me wrong i love my 250x but its fairly old technology and can't really hold a candle to the newer quads.
