Default 300ex w/400 carb

ive searched but havent really got a experienced anwser. im curious whats envolved with putting a 400 carb on a 300. or if it even benefits over just a rejetting. i have a full fmf powercore, uni and drilled box.

if it is benefical, what size jets would be a good starting point? i would need a carb and the 400 air box.. correct?
thanks
andy

i would just rejet your stock carb. you really dont need a bigger carb unless you bump the displacement of your engine up with a big bore and stroker crank.
