is step 12 incomplete? Looks like it was cut off. Is it just saying I need to remove the rear wheels?

Well I live in Albany Ga now. Where are you located?

Market research indicates that most folks want an automatic utility. Honda responded with a couple of different, needlessly complex designs. I am no fan of belt drives either, but the Honda designs are over the top.

This was never a big seller for Honda, perhaps because it was $1,000 more than a standard Rancher. Note that the new 420AT is similarly priced, but for your money at least you get IRS and a totally new design transmission (that may just be the ultimate automatic trans design?).

This model has had a flurry of problem posts lately, mostly tranny related! Not a flood, but not that many of them out there to begin with, compared to thousands of standard Ranchers. If anybody were asking before a purchase, I would say to avoid this model, as well as the ES shifting standard Rancher.

well from what I've read, all the problems aren't direct tranny problems. It looks like it's either the ECM not being set correctly or the clutch assy being wore out. I haven't seen anybody post up anything about the hondamatic breaking or haven't problems. Only thing I keep seeing is how it's low on low end grunt.

that being said I prob would have gone with something else if I would have seen this before hand because all I've ever owned is manuals.

But then again it is a honda and I stand by them
