Default 450r exhaust

i finally got my 450er broke in and am concidering a pipe, any suggestions? i had an fmf on my 400ex and this is a good pipe but wanted to try others. also is rejetting absolutly required with a slip on? i was going to go with an k&n air filter, lose the air box lid, rejetting and slip-on but can i just throw a slip-on on there and call it good until i upgrade the rest later?

i have a trinity stage 4 on mine, im happy with it. you will need to re jet even with a slip on, and if you take off the air box lid be sure to get an outwear for your filter

Depends on the situation. I ride in extremely high elevation so with stock jetting my quad was running very rich so the slip-on did not cause a lean condition. To receive any gains from it yes, you need to rejet.

I run a 2 Brothers exhaust on my ER

The fastest R I know of, has nothing but an HRC kit, incluting their header, opened up airbox lid, and the uncorked stock muffler. It isn't sexy, but the thing rips. A lot of aftermarket stuff will just waste your money....

It is very loud and throaty. I think it sounds sick.

I have a full Yosh system, open airbox and Uni filter.
I really like the performance.
