Question honda 450r clutch ?

well a freind of mine thinks he burned up the clutch in his 450, and he wants to put in a hinson complete clutch kit but doesnt want to spend the money on the complete kit. he hasnt taken it apart yet to see what the real damage is either. i told him he plobably just needs new friction/seperater plates. i recomended that he just get ebc plates with heavy duty springs. ive been doing more research and found the tusk brand. i also want a friction plate that doesnt leve deposits in the oil. i want to know which one he should get or differences between the brands.

I have run the Tusk and it works great. It has steel drive plates so the oil stays cleaner.

I also have the Tusk with the heavy duty springs. The next clutch I put in will be the Hinson system. I have modified my 450 quite a bit and I think I am wearing out the Tusk after a year and a half.
