i have a 97 250 recon i just had the jug and head done and i put it all back together and cranked on it for about 30 min and it want start. it's not getting fuel into the cylinder. well i kept cranking then all a sudden it backfired real loud so i quit. my question is could it be out of time because i have never worked on a honda before so i just put the piston, jug, and head back on i dont know how to time it. i'm not sure that i should have but i have a funny feeling about it all other four wheelers i have ever worked on that i have ever removed the head requred timing them. anyway anyone who can help me sure would be appreciated. if i was suppose to time it could someone tell me how. thanks, wendell.

would this cause it not to get fuel and why did it backfire real loud?
