Default anybody ever had this happen to there rubi

I bought a brand new Rubi yesterday 09 model Red took it out of the garage fired it up warmed it up and took my four year old four a ride in the yard and when the fan kicked on my overheat light came on shut it down checked for coolant leaks none checked oil full started rubi and light was off ran for a couple of min fan kicked on light com on but this time i got up to seven or eight mph light went off turned rubi off let it cool 5min and started it back up let it idle till fan kicked on no light checked coolant level again for peace of mind and looked at dash coolant light was on again i have owned an 06 rubi and the overheat light never came on could this be a senser problem or is somthing wrong with the thermastat i have three miles on this machine it also has gsape and power steering HELP????????

Take it back to the dealer have him give you a new unit.

Could be defective thermostat, defective oil temp sensor, or defective coolant temp sensor.

Buying new costs money, but has its privileges. Take it back under warranty.
