I found an article at hondaforeman.com...said splice green wire, well, the green wire was power for the display. I'm headed out now to try to find the right wire, but question was isn't there a way to wire direct to the hi/low switch so the third lamp goes off when on low beams? I know i've read how somewhere, bu have searched all websites and google and can't find anything.

Anybody know what color wire to splice into for a simple switch?
Anybody know how to wire up w/ the factory switch??

 

With mine, I just got a cole-hearsee O ring sealed (water proof) single throw single pole switch, and I added the rubber boot that screws down over the shaft.

I just cut one of the wires to the 3rd headlight, and soldered/shrink tubed the switch in.

That way I can just switch it off whenever I have something big on the front rack that tends to reflect back in your face... With the switch on, the 3rd headlight comes on with the headlight switch as it does from the factory.
