Default Just picked up a 2007 Honda Foreman ES

Well, I finally bought a new ATV. This was a leftover with 16 miles on it. It is a 2007 Foreman ES 500 with power steering. I got it for under $5k so I felt good about the deal. I have always heard of Honda's having good reliability so that was my main reason. So far I love the power steering and the electronic shifting. This thing has some nice low end torque.

Took her to some trails near my house and all I can say is WOW! The power steering is amazing. I couldn't believe how smooth it was on the trails. Made my 02 Sportsman 500 that I traded in look like a joke.

Great deal and nice ride. Still need to try this power steering technology. I wonder what it feels like.

My friends bought two 06 Foreman's ,one of them changed over to 6ply tires but no tire size change from the stock 2ply and it made the ATV handle and corner much better then the other. Best thing he did for the ATV he said.

He used to turn the bars but the ATV tried to continue going straight, the stiffer wall 6 ply tires cured it. He was told the old 2ply tried to fold under the rim on corners, while the new 6 ply would not.

Just a heads up for your first upgrade.

Yeah, once the smoke clears from buying the ATV I am going to start looking at better and bigger tires. Went for a ride in the rain and mud today. Killed me to get her dirty, but I cleaned her up nice after.
