hi guys .
hey my 86 250 r its been bored 60, non power vale jug , stock carb and head, open air box lid and rejeted full exhaust fmf with spacer in exhaust and spacer on reeds and just latly i added the adujstment timing plate plus 5 wich really helpd so far.. i not sure if it has a short rod or not. i thinkging the jug might be off of a 3 wheeled bike if it matters.
but any how i read about the snap and power the 250 rs have well i have yet to expernice it. my bike can fly wide open but up a hill if you think about letting off of it you cant get it back no matter how much you slip it or downshift your done.
even on flat it takes off slow nothing snappy at all its kinna of a pain to ride unless your half throttel or wide open .. but taken off no way your doing this if your trying to hitany hill without getting a run for about 50 yards to feel safe .
anyhow is this normal or not my firsts 250r and i am not sure what rod is in it i bought itlike this .. so any help to get bottem end back ??? let me no ideas.
oh i geared it down to didnt help me much.
