Can some one please help me.. I need to remove my piston i blew the head of my engine. If anyone can respond to this quick thank you.

 

What bike?

 

Don't do anything until you get a service manual, then follow it carefully!!! Just yanking out a piston based on something someone tells you over the internet would be pretty stupid!

 

my bike is a honda 400ex ive worked on bikes before i already have the top head off i wanna kno how to remove the piston thanks.

 

Like Recon said, get a manual. You're gonna need it to put it all back together anyway. Unless you're just gonna guess on the torque specs, which could lead to doing the job over again.

 

Don't you just remove the cylinder, then remove the piston pin's clip?

 

What's "blowing the head" mean?

 

If someone doesnt know what that means, is that a sign that someone has been married for a looooong time.

I think he has his it worded wrong. I think he's talking about the cylinder head.

I've seen quads running around with their heads blown off...its not pretty. They usually stop when they hit a tree or roll over on themselves.

 

Usually thats when the ol lady Unzips my fly and puts a lil slobber on my shaft... I dunno what it means to him.
