Default ITP tire question

I emailed ITP the following but have not gotten any reply so I thought I'd try here. I am looking to replace the rear tires on my 250X. The OEM tires are 22x10x9. I am concerned about losing ground clearance with the ITP rear tires and have a few questions about the ITP XC, XCT, and XCR size 22x11x9.

1. Which comes closest to the circumference of my OEM rear tires?
2. What is the measured circumference at 8 -10 psi?

ITP TIRES - The World's #1 ATV Aftermarket Tire & Wheel Source :: Sport ATV

I like to use my tires to widen my quads a little. The XCR's are narrower, so no thanks.

The stock tires are 22", but nothing says you have to stay with that. I like 20" becaue it lowers the effective gearing and gives these little machines a little more low end power.

If you need the extra ground clearance of a 22", I would go with the XCT's. They are a little on the heavy side for small quads, but not bad.

I also prefer 20's most of the time. Besides the lower gearing, you'll also benefit form better cornring abilities.

ITP also makes a 21" XC and they will work too...... Some XC racers run 21" ......

I would not go with a 20" tire for a lower gear ratio if it came with 22's stock. Go ahead and use the 22's and drop a tooth on the front sprocket. This would get you the ground clearance you want and also give you a little more bottom end pull. Probably a little more gearing than doing a 20" tire. A lower gear ratio means nothing if you're getting stuck on everything you ride over.
