400EX oil

Its not bad for ur engine but it has different additives in it bc cars have a seperate clutch so there is no additive to protect ur wet clutch so it can ware it out faster or cause it to slip thats why u run honda bike oil wet clutch safe

I understand. There are better oils made for wet clutchs.
I presumed the 400 engine had separate motor oil and tranny/wet clutchs like the 450R.

Nope its one unit with the 400.. But yeah just tryin to pass on what i know to safe u time and money in the long run

the manual says 10-40. Like stated make sure to use a oil meant for wet sump use.
