i just bought a penland pro series slip on and it sounds great when i accelerate. but when i slow down it has a very annoying rachet sound. doesnt sound normal. anyoune kno what could be causing this?

 

You didn't state what what model quad you have is it a 2x4 0r 4x4 ?
If it's a 4x4 it could be the limitedslip transaxle they have a racheting sound in the front diff especially when you're slowing down and worsh when you're making sharp turns , it's normal and nothing to woory about if it's a 4x4 !
