700 prairie

Default 700 prairie

its a 2004 700 prairie, anything i neeed to know about these? i know its a solid axle, but does it have diff lock? and i have heard power is pretty good? what is it like compared to the first brute force 650, which one is better? idk anybody that owns one, please let me know if i need to stay away or if they are alright

nobody has any input on a 700 prairie vs a brute force 650?

The 700 Prarie is the same as the SRA 650 brute, just with a bigger engine im pretty sure. A 650 Bute Force SRA model is a 650 prarie with Brute plastic from everything I have heard. I believe they are pretty good ATV's and definately powerful. They do have front differential lock. There is a yellow lever on the left handlebar you have to hold in order to lock the diff. I would say its worth buying if the price is right. I have always wanted one of the Prarie's myself. I think they look better than the brute.

I have had my P700 since 2004 and it was my most favorite qauds out of 4!
Fast, powerful, good handling, reliable, etc. I liked this quad even more than my EFI BF750, mainly because of lower CG and SRS.
